Gourmand

Gourmand (Gift to Zaporozhye x Augustine, 178-09) - a new hybrid form of grapes of a very early or early ripening period. The beginning of ripening is July 20-25. Full ripening in the conditions of the Kiev region occurs in early August. Bisexual flower. The berry peat is insignificant.

The berries are large, oval with a sharp tip, yellow-white or beige-white, weighing 6-8 grams. The clusters are medium, weighing 600-800 grams, long. The pulp is dense, crispy, there are not many seeds, 2-3 pcs.

The berry taste is harmonious, has a good balance of sugar and acid, high sugar (25%). When fully ripe, the form has a very high taste. The skin of the berries is firm but not tough.

The growth force of the hybrid form of grapes is great. Fruitfulness is 2-3 clusters per shoot. The vine ripens early, long before the berries ripen. Disease resistance is increased, at the level of 2.5 - 3 points on the susceptibility scale. Frost resistance of the hybrid form - 24 degrees C.
