Аnna
Origin: Talisman x Jupiter, (70-16)
Economic characteristics:
The grape form has an early-mid ripening period. Ripening in the conditions of the Kyiv region of Ukraine occurs in early September. The flower is bisexual. The grape form Anna is pollinated very well, there is no pea-like berries.
The berries are large, oval, yellow-green, weighing 10 - 12 grams. The pulp is dense, crispy, the skin is not felt. The seeds are medium, 2-3 pieces per berry. The taste of the berries is harmonious (caramel), reminiscent of the taste of Jupiter, but not so rich. The taste of the grapes has a good balance of sugar and acid, the sugar content of the berry juice is 19 - 20%.
The clusters are medium-density or loose, weighing 300 - 400 grams. The growth force of the Anna grape variety is high, but the vine is thin. The yield is 2.0 clusters per shoot.
The vine ripens early, long before the berries ripen. Disease resistance is high: susceptibility to mildew and oidium is about 2.5 - 3.0 points. With three preventive treatments with systemic drugs, there are no diseases until the end of the season. Frost resistance is about - 26, -27 degrees Celsius.
The ability to form stepsons is small. The shoots ripen very well and early. Pruning of fruit vines is average, at 6-8 buds or short at 3-4 buds. The shape of the Anna grape is well preserved on the bush without damage and cracking, while gaining sugar up to 20%.
