The grape variety is early or early-middle ripening. Ripening in the conditions of the Kyiv region occurs at the beginning of September. The flower is bisexual. The Mongol grape variety is very well pollinated, there is practically no pea formation of berries.
The berries are large, oval with a sharp tip, dark red, weighing 7-9 grams. The pulp is dense, crispy, the skin is not felt. The seeds are medium, 2-3 pcs in a berry. The taste of the berries is harmonious, has a good balance of sugar and acid, the sugar content of the berry juice is 19-20%.
Bunches of medium density or loose, weighing 600-800 grams. The growth force of the Mongol grape variety is large, the fruitfulness is 2.5 bunches per shoot. The grapes are prone to overloading with the harvest, so thoughtful rationing is required.
Ripening of the vine is early, long before the ripening of the berries. Resistance to diseases is high: susceptibility to mildew and oidium is about 2.5 - 3.0 points. With three preventive treatments with systemic preparations, there are no diseases until the end of the season. Frost resistance is about -28, -30 gr.C.
The ability to form side shoots is average. Shoots are erect and powerful. Pruning of fruit vines is average, to 6-8 buds or short to 3-4 buds. The shape of the Mongol grape is well preserved on the bush without damage or cracking, while sugar gains up to 22%.
